HuntKit's AI features run on Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude. Below are the details on the Google Calendar integration and the controls you have over your data.
Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude are the AI models behind HuntKit. Both are large language models. We use them to help users improve their job application materials and prepare for interviews.
Other AI providers may step in as fallbacks if Gemini or Claude is unavailable. The full list of data processors is in our Privacy Policy.
None of these services run for advertising or profiling. They run when you click an AI feature. Not before, not after.
HuntKit uses two Google services. The first is the Google Gemini API, which powers the AI features described above. It's subject to Google's Gemini API Terms of Service.
The second is the Google Calendar API. We only call it when you explicitly connect your Google Calendar so HuntKit can add interview events for you. We ask for the minimum scopes needed (just event creation). HuntKit can't read your existing events, and it can't modify any event it didn't create. You can disconnect any time from settings.
HuntKit's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You decide when AI runs. Every AI feature in HuntKit is something you click on purpose: Tailor Resume, Generate Cover Letter, Score Resume, Run Mock Interview. None of those happen unless you ask.
Account deletion lives in settings. That removes the database row and purges any cached AI responses at the same time. Disconnecting Google Calendar is also in settings: one click, and nothing else in HuntKit breaks if you do it.
AI makes mistakes. Always read the output before you send it anywhere. You're the one whose name goes on the application. HuntKit's prompts have strict rules against fabrication, but the final review has to be yours.

AI tooling changes fast. If we add or change providers, or expand how AI is used in HuntKit, we'll update this page and email you about it.
